NPB is an automation company in the packaging industry whose operations result in various types of environmental impact. Our long-term goal is to minimize all environmental impacts.

The activities that contribute most to climate emissions and affect the environment are:

design
transport
travel

DESIGN

We have great power to influence our climate footprint already in the design phase of our machines. Here we can work with material selection and design to make our machines more energy efficient and to minimize the climate footprint.

For us, sustainable construction means carefully choosing materials for our constructions and components, designing machines according to circular business concepts, which means that it is possible to upgrade and replace components that are too old and worn without having to buy a whole new machine.

TRANSPORTATION

At NPB, we do not have our own manufacturing, we instead collaborate with regional suppliers who manufacture our constructions, which we then assemble and automate at our premises.

A large part of our climate impact is thus in collaboration with our suppliers, where coordination and planning will be a major key for us.

TRAVEL

Close relationships with our customers are a major key factor for us. This, together with our service and support that we offer, means that there is a lot of international travel in total.

This means that our climate impact will be high in terms of travel. There are high demands on coordination and planning to minimize the climate footprint.

Good collaborations with service providers and digital solutions are a major focus for us.

CLIMATE EMISSIONS

Our production takes place in our own properties in Sweden. Sweden is a country where energy production largely comes from renewable sources, which contributes to relatively low climate emissions.

100 % RENEWABLE ENERGY

At NPB, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable future. One of the most important steps we have taken is transitioning to the use of 100% green electricity in our operations.
